The new version of Blood Bowl is highly anticipated by the Blood Bowl community and hopefully will draw a lot of new coaches ! The set comes with 2 teams (Humans vs Orcs), a double-sided pitch and dugouts, team-specific dice, some gaming accessories such as passing template and scatter template, rules manual and a few sets of cards with what seem like updated versions of the old "Random Events" cards.
The site also sneak pre-views 3 teams: Humans, Orcs (both included in the starter box) and Skaven ! Those Skaven look really dynamic, even with 2 Skaven teams in my display case I will be very tempted to start a 3rd Skaven team ! It is hard to resist the call of the Horned Rat... Damn Warpstone addiction is killing me !
The artwork of the box looks very impressive, as do the graphics and movies of the website. Based on the specific publicity this release is getting, with its proper teaser website and related social media on Twitter and Facebook, Games Workshop seems to make a big investment in this classic game. I'm really curious at how the new game will overlap / interact with the current LRB6 ruleset. I'm hoping for a quick release of all official teams (and some new ones?) and some booster blisters to beef up the typical 12-player team boxes.
